This event launched the OECD publication ?Linking Renewable Energy to Rural Development? as part of a new series of OECD publications examining new sources of sustainable growth.?The publication is the outcome of a two-year study involving 16 regions in 10 OECD Countries. It provides in-depth analysis on how rural regions can use their renewable resources to create stable and valuable employment opportunities, boost investment and human capital, and create an enabling institutional and governance framework.
