HBT: Pujols hits first two HRs as Angel

Already off to a 6-for-14 start this spring, Albert Pujols made some more noise Wednesday, homering in both of his official at-bats against the White Sox.

Pujols delivered a three-run homer off Chris Sale in the first. He was then plunked by Sale next time up, though there was nothing deliberate about it. In the fifth, he hit his second homer, that off White Sox prospect Anthony Carter.

Pujols was pulled before his fourth plate appearance, leaving him with a .500 average through 16 at-bats. Still, it?s arguable whether he?s having the best spring of Angels hitters. Howie Kendrick, who has been batting second ahead of Pujols, went 3-for-3 with a homer today to raise his average to .611.
