The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will be keeping things interesting, with its workshop coming up on August 15 and, in the meantime, Plaza Park is also hosting the ?Listen? portion of its 2012 Summer Series. Whether hoping to learn more about how the Internet works or instead aiming to enjoy a little live music, Lafayette residents are in luck.
Things get going for residents and business owners with ?Internet Security and Password Protection? being held at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center on August 15. From the perspective of most people who leverage digital business cards and social media for branding and marketing purposes, the issue of internet security is incredibly important. This is not just because protecting passwords makes online advertising easier for everyone involved but also because of it allows business owners to build up continuity as they work towards maintaining their professional reputations.
Free for members of the Lafayette Chamber and priced at just $15 for non-members, this morning workshop is being held at 8:00 am. The schedule could hardly be better for working professionals.
Residents who are interested in getting out and having a good time, meanwhile, have at least two ?Rock the Plaza? events to consider. The August 17 installment will feature Mixed Nuts, while the concert being hosted on August 24 is going to be headlined by Night Fever. Open to the public and going from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there are plenty of reasons to consider attending this next portion of the 2012 Summer Series.
