Richard Dawkins Claims Religion Now 'Irrelevant' in UK Richard Dawkins Claims Religion Now 'Irrelevant' in UK, Christian News I disagree with this. Religion is totally relevant to things that are going on in the UK as well as other parts of the world. __________________You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. (James 2:24) So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter. I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you so that, if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. |

If only it was irrelevant everywhere. |
Hahaha... Richard Dawkins has been claiming that religion is "irrelevant" for just about his whole life. I've read his books, and you know what I think? He hasn't been around that long. And the whole Modern movement stating that religion is dying, is IRRELEVANT. Wake up, we live in a PostModern world, and an educated mind states educated statistics. He doesn't back his statistics up. Did he get them from a census? He says, "Prove it," but I'd love to say that right back at him! All you have to do is look around at this world to realize that there's a spiritual awakening like never before. The work of gurus, shamans, starchildren & crystalchildren & indo aura readers only proves it. It's not just Christians that are feeling the increase in spiritual activity. The world is stirring. The supernatural is VERY natural. Probably more real than the things that we can see or touch. The true question is, if Richard Dawkins didn't blind himself so badly to the reality behind our reality, he'd be blown away. The poor man is so limited.

I'm not fan of Dawkins, but he's right, religion should have no role in public policy. Too bad America is full of religious extremists and can't follow the UKs lead.

I wouldn't want to follow UK's lead. If you believe in God, He belongs everywhere, even in public policy. |

Until God himself personally and publicly decides policy, I will leave policy to secular institutions.

It's always the Christians that start threads with quotes from Dawkins. Most atheists really couldn't care less what Dawkins says, and yet the Christians care a great deal. It's very ironic.
