Scottish TMC Business Travel Solutions is to expand across the UK with new offices in London and Manchester.
The Glasgow-based company, which is part of the Barrhead Travel Group, will also add a second Scottish office in Aberdeen.
The three new offices will give Business Travel Solutions a total of five locations in the UK including the existing operations in Glasgow and Belfast. The company has also appointed Chris Watson as business development manager as part of its expansion plans.
Stephen McGuire, head of Business Travel Solutions, said: ?In recent months we have won a substantial number of new contracts and we?re keen to increase our regional presence.
?New offices in Aberdeen, Manchester and London will give us even greater reach across the UK and will open up access to a wealth of new business travel markets.
?In response, in Glasgow we are recruiting 10 new business travel specialists as well as several more at our offices across the UK in order to service the new business.
?We pride ourselves on delivering a tailored approach for each client and it makes sense that our consultants are close at hand to work with businesses across the country.?
As part of its expansion plans, the TMC will also relocate its Glasgow headquarters to bigger premises. The operation is currently based in Barrhead Travel?s Oswald Street office.
Business Travel Solutions, which was founded by Barrhead Travel in 1985, has companies such as Nikon, Clyde Union and Tennants as clients. The company said that it had ?added a new ?7 million London-based business account? in December.
The business travel agency was ranked as the 41st biggest TMC in the UK in BBT?s list of the Top 50 Leading TMCs last year with total sales of ?17.9 million in 2011.
