Q: What is the best way to find a rental with bad credit?
?Anonymous, Manassas, VA
A: Dear BAD Credit:
I am sorry to hear you have some bad credit issues going on. Hopefully you are taking measures to correct this situation. However, don?t ever let it determine your worth, who you are or the contributions you can make in people?s lives or in your society. There are many options but it is a little more difficult, friends with homes that are leasing out or maybe someone they know, word of mouth, local for rent signs in the yard, various websites that include rentals. It is going to require a little more search on your end but they are out there and may require more of a down payment. Roommate situations may be another way to go until things get cleaned up. I sincerely wish you the best and recommend that once you clear things up stay ahead and you will feel better about life and yourself.
